About Imogen

Imogen grew up near Stirling in Scotland, and studied at Edinburgh University where she graduated with an MA in Mental Philosophy. She moved to London to train at the Drama Studio London and appeared in film, television and theatre productions ranging from the popular Taggart and Doctors to the slightly less well-known Like Thunder, an award-winning piece of devised Norwegian theatre. Entering political life in 2006, she was a cabinet member at Lambeth Council from 2012-14 and Deputy Leader from 2014- 2018. She was responsible from 2016-2018 for delivering Lambeth’s financial strategy.
Imogen was a Vice President of the RSPCA from 2010-2019 and founded the Animal Welfare Champions network in London, working with politicians from across the capital. She is now on the governing board of the RSPCA. With over a decade of experience in politics and the third sector, she is an experienced contributor to print and broadcast media and advises clients on political strategy, communications skills and engagement. Imogen lives near Lanark with her husband Morgan, son Magnus and dog Otto.
